My name is Nicolas Pollet, also known as Papyhouse. I’m 57, and music has been the constant rhythm running through my life.

R&B, blues, and pop shape my sound, but I’ve always been an artist far beyond a single medium. Video, photography, writing… creativity has followed me like a shadow at sunset, stretching into every corner of my world.

I believe something deeply: an artist must remain loyal to their inner compass. To the pulse that started it all.

I only began producing music a few years ago. I never had formal training, never learned an instrument the traditional way. Loving music so intensely while being unable to play it was a quiet frustration, like hearing a melody trapped behind glass.
Then technology cracked the window open. Learning to work with a DAW changed everything. And when I discovered AI, another door appeared, not as a shortcut, but as a new instrument in my studio, a new color on my palette.

Staying true to my art remains essential. I compose my own melodies. I write my own lyrics. I shape the soul of every track. AI steps in only for arrangements and voices, helping me transform intention into sound.
